Hello! My name is Abbey and I just built a website through Wordpress/Bluehost for my copywriting business. I'm probably the least technical person out there, so this was a definite challenge. Among other problems, my portfolio page has me confounded right now. I was not able to figure out the "portfolio building" plugins, so I just posted my portfolio pictures (canva) on the page, kind of blog style. There are currently two issues.

1. Some people (not all) say the portfolio pictures are broken when they try to view them. There is just a little picture icon, but not my picture.

2. On the mobile view, I can see multiples of some portfolio pictures, but not on my desktop view. Therefore, I can't go in and edit them on the desktop, because I...can't see the multiples there :)

Any help would be appreciated!! Like I said, this website is a challenge for me :D

Hello @akmcopy!

I sure would love to help!

But, first, I need to take a look at your website to see for myself what the issues are.

If you're OK sharing your website address publicly, please do so.

If not, please PM me the domain name so I can take a look.

Hello!

Oh yes, sorry! Here it is. If you view it from both mobile and desktop, maybe the issues will show up! abigailkmcopy.com

Sorry, for the late response: I had a family emergency (too grim to talk about publicly ) and I had to necessarily put this project on the back burner. Thankfully, I'm back to continue from where I left off.

I just checked your site, and, unfortunately, the layout is completely broken and I can't see a single image on the site. And it's not just the portfolio page that's broken: all pages on the site have the same problem.

Something is not right on the hosting side. I'm seeing several 403-Forbidden errors in my browser's developer console, as you can see in the screenshot attached below.

Since I don't have access to your hosting account, there's not much I can do to help you address this. I'll recommend you get in touch with your host (Bluehost) for help: this is something basic that they should be able to help you resolve very quickly.

Once the hosting issue is resolved and the site loads properly, we can continue the discussion about the original issue you presented.

Thank you, and standing by.

I am SO sorry to hear of your family's tragic situation!!

Thank you so much for letting me know about the website. Something must have happened over the weekend. I will contact Bluehost! Thanks for checking into this.

Ok, let's try this again.

I dealt with a plugin issue and discussed the problem with Bluehost. They agreed a plugin update could cause this and hopefully this will not return. I will keep a close eye on it. The screenshot you sent was very helpful!

At this time, the website it working. Hoping that continues!
